Greetings!
My name is Scott Neely and I am at your service! I offer 30+ years experience as a versatile illustrator/cartoonist and graphic designer.
I have worked on hundreds of projects including advertising, corporate, editorial, children’s books, comic books, magazine production, packaging, TV show production art, merchandising, patent design, pharmaceutical illustrations, and conceptual product design.
While I have produced original art and design during that time, my main body of work has been in providing artwork for established licensed properties for a variety of corporate clients. To date, I have worked with over 30 different licensed properties, and my longest-running work has been for Scooby-Doo, which started in 1999.
From 2006 to 2013, I was the visual creator and production designer for “Hollywood Hal & Rhinestone Al” which was a project I worked on with co-creators Scott Innes (popular radio show host & voice of Scooby-Doo) and country musician Jim Hogg. I produced all the art and design for the Hal & Al “live-action” TV show, live stage shows, events, CDs, DVDs, merchandising, advertising, and media design.
Most recently, I was the editor-in-chief/designer for Delaware County Magazine until NMA Inc shut down in September 2024. We had a press run of 120,000 a month and were distributed throughout the Main Line and suburbs of Philadelphia. In 2022, I had the privilege of winning two first place MACnet Media awards for my original editorial writing. I also previously worked on Dining & Entertainment and Family Values magazines for NMA Inc as well.
